CVCA Private Equity Report Deal activity in 2023
Publikované: , ŠtatistikyIn 2023, the Czech Republic and Slokak Republic’s private equity (PE) and venture capital (VC) landscape experienced a slowdown in activity due to economic uncertainties. Like many other countries, the Czech Republic faced challenges such as economic slowdown, high inflation, and elevated interest rates. The ongoing conflict in Ukraine remained a contributing factor to global uncertainty. Given the unprecedented high activity in 2021 and 2022 in this industry, 2023 marks a correction and return to long-term trends rather than a collapse in PE and VC investment activity. Despite the overall slowdown, investors continued to back high-potential, high-growth businesses, highlighting the attractive prospects the country offers to experienced dealmakers.
