EIF Private Debt Survey European SME 2021

We present you the EIF Private Debt survey of SME companies in Europe and we invite you to an online seminar focused on the presentation of the survey results. The seminar under the auspices of the EIF in cooperation with the University of Trier / Germany will take place on 10.3.2022 at 15:00.

The work analyzes the market segment of debt funds. It provides a market overview and a comprehensive view of the results of the EIF's Private Debt survey, a new study that provides a unique view and helps increase market transparency. The document also presents the EIF's action plan to address private debt shortages in the European market.

The Private Debt EIF Survey (along with the EIF VC Survey, the EIF Private Debt Survey among EIF Central Markets and the Business Angels Survey, the largest combined regular survey among GPs and Bas at the pan-European level) provides an opportunity to obtain unique market information.

The analysis focuses on market sentiment and the impacts of COVID-19, the current situation, developments in the recent past and expectations for the future. The main results are summarized and compared over time. The publication provides a comprehensive picture of the development and market situation in 2021, as well as the outlook for the near future.
